On November 18, 2008, a public event will be held at the National Academies in Washington, DC, where key findings from the NAEd education policy white papers project will be presented and discussed. This event will be co-hosted by the National Academy of Sciences.

NAEd/Spencer Postdoctoral Fellowship Selection Committee Meetings
The first selection committee will be held Friday, January 23, 2009 in San Francisco, CA. The second meeting will be Friday, April 17, 2009 during AERA in San Diego, CA.

Adolescent Literacy Predoctoral Fellowship Selection Committee Meeting
The selection committee meeting will be held Saturday, February 28, 2009 in Washington, DC immediately following the 2009 Spring Retreat.

2009 National Academy of Education Annual Meeting
The 2009 Annual Meeting will take place October 23-24, 2009 at the Keck Center of the National Academies in Washington, DC. The Fellows Retreat will take place on October 22, 2009.
